The greatest literary biography

Burgess in the London Observer newspaper writes of the revised edition (1982) of James Joyce, which first appeared in 1959: ‘The greatest literary biography of the century has not, which would be impossible, become greater, but it has…become…truer’. He calls the book ‘one of the masterpieces of the age’. The original edition appears in this video.
